User Profile Information We collect and store basic profile information in our secure database, including name input, age range selection, and your digital wellness goals. This information helps us personalize your experience within the app.
Activity Data Your activity data, including completion records, steps count, physical activity metrics, task timestamps, app blocking preferences, and exercise tracking data, is stored locally on your device. This data remains private and is used solely to track your progress and provide relevant insights.
Device Information We collect standard device information such as device type, operating system version, and app version. This technical data helps us troubleshoot issues and optimize app performance across different devices.
We use your information to provide and improve our services, personalizing your experience based on your goals and preferences. Your activity data enables core features like app blocking, step tracking, and exercise verification. We may analyze anonymized usage patterns to enhance our features and improve functionality.
Local Storage Most of your data, including activity records, exercise counts, step data, and app blocking preferences, is stored locally on your device. This information is not transmitted to our servers and remains under your control. You can clear this data by deleting the app or through in-app settings.
Cloud Storage We store minimal data in our secure Firebase database, including basic profile information. This data is protected using industry-standard security measures. You maintain the right to delete this information at any time through the profile settings.
Our app requires certain permissions to function properly. Screen Time access is needed for app blocking features but we do not collect or store your screen time data. Notification permissions enable activity reminders and blocking alerts. Motion and fitness permissions are required for step counting and physical activity tracking, with all processing done locally.
Camera access is optional and only required for the grass detection feature. When used, images are processed locally on your device and are not stored or transmitted to our servers. Any location data used for outdoor activity verification is never stored or tracked over time.
We utilize select third-party services to enhance app functionality. Apple services include Screen Time API for usage management and App Store for installation and subscriptions. Firebase provides authentication, cloud storage for profile data, and analytics for performance measurement. RevenueCat processes subscription transactions and verifies subscription status.
All third-party services are bound by their respective privacy policies and data processing agreements to ensure your information remains protected.
You have complete control over your data within Lookup. You may view and edit your profile information at any time, delete your account and associated data, or manage local storage through app settings. All permissions can be managed or revoked through your device settings.
